Adirondack Wine & Food Fest returns with new attractions

The 4th Annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival is bringing 25 wineries, 12 distilleries, five breweries, seven cideries and a meadery to the Lake George Festival Commons Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24. Thirty artisan food vendors, selling cheeses, chocolates, sauces, olive oils and more, will be offering free samples. Ten food trucks will be on site for attendees seeking a full meal. Specialty vendors, selling crafts and gifts, round out the vendor list.

“Our ticket sales are on fire,” says Sasha Pardy, Festival founder and co-owner and President of Adirondack Winery. The event draws foodies and craft beverage enthusiasts from across the Northeast and Canada. Last year’s Festival broke previous attendance records and had an economic impact on the Lake George area of more than $1 million as attendees filled hotel rooms and restaurant tables. The Adirondack Wine & Food Festival is a farmers market “try before you buy” event. A tasting ticket includes a souvenir wine glass, which visitors use to sample locally produced beverages.

New for 2018

Celebrity Chef William Cornelius will prepare recipes using his own sauces, local foods and craft beverages.
