Triathletes to compete at Lake George event Labor Day Weekend

The 2021 Lake George Triathlon Festival kicks off Friday, Sept. 3 and continues through Sunday, Sept. 5 with races and a fitness expo. Organizer Alpha Win of Saugerties is offering three races designed to span multiple levels of training and endurance capacity.

All courses begin at the “Dog Beach,” the stretch of sand on Beach Road between the Lake George Steamboat Company’s ships and Million Dollar Beach. Depending on the event, runners and bikers will travel along the East Side of Lake George, north to Brant Lake or head south to Queensbury.
