One of the largest muscle car shows in the Northeast rumbles into Lake George this Thursday, Sept. 10, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 13. The 2026 Adirondack Nationals, brought to town by Albany Rods and Kustoms, will feature 1,500 pre-1980s vehicles, from restored antiques and classics to modified hot rods, and more than 200 vendors. The show is held on the grounds of the Fort William Henry Hotel, 48 Canada Street, Lake George, with a vendor area at the Festival Commons in Wood Park.
Spectator gates are open Friday and Saturday, Sept.11 and 12, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is $20 for the entire weekend. Dan Short, creator of FantomWorks, is the 2026 Adirondack Nationals’ featured celebrity. Celebrities will be at the Fort William Henry Carriage House, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
The popular Night Car Crusin’ will be held Friday and Saturday, 7-10 p.m. Vehicles registered with the show will parade their entries along Canada Street in a continuous loop between the Lake George High School at the North end of the Village and the Lanes and Games Bowling Alley to the South. Fans traditionally bring camp chairs and line up on the sidewalk along the route to cheer on the drivers.
Canada Street (NY State Route 9) will be closed to public traffic during the parade and will remain closed through 2 a.m., according to organizers. Traffic will be diverted to streets west of Canada Street. Those planning to visit Lake George on Friday and Saturday evening are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic and to secure parking, as the event attracts several thousand spectators each year.
