ADK Pub & Brewery to host annual Oktoberfest Charity Block Party

The Adirondack Pub & Brewery is hosting its annual Adirondack Oktoberfest Charity Block Party on Saturday, Oct. 17, from noon to 5 p.m. The festivities will take place outside the Adirondack Pub & Brewery on Sewell Street in Lake George, NY.

The popular fundraiser features unlimited sampling of craft beer, cider and other hard beverages, Bavarian food, live music, games, and contests. This is the 20th year for the event, which has raised more than $180K for local charities since its inception. This year’s beneficiary is Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks.

“We’re honored once again to be the beneficiary of this incredible community tradition,” says Bill Moon, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks. “The support generated through Adirondack Pub & Brewery’s Oktoberfest directly helps us create and sustain life-changing mentoring relationships for local children. We’re grateful to everyone who attends and helps invest in the future of our youth.”

Tickets are now available on Eventbrite, with General Admission and Designated Driver options. This is a 21-and-older event. Last year’s party broke attendance records with 600 guests. Organizers encourage guests to purchase tickets early as they expect to once again sell out. A ticket purchase includes admission, an Oktoberfest 5 oz. sampler stein, a $15 food voucher, unlimited craft beverage sampling, games and contests.

“Reaching 20 years of our charity Oktoberfest and celebrating the 15th Village Oktoberfest is something we’re incredibly proud of,” says Adirondack Pub & Brewery owner John Carr. “What started as a way to bring people to Lake George during the fall has grown into a tradition that attracts thousands of visitors, creates lasting memories and gives back to our community. Every ticket purchased helps make a difference, and we can’t wait to celebrate these milestones together.”
Free parking is available next door in the High Peaks Distilling/Biscotti Brothers parking lot.
