AIM Music Fest returns to Lake George Labor Day Weekend

The Adirondack Independence Music Festival, billed as Lake George’s biggest party of the year, is returning to the Festival Commons in Wood Park September 1-3, 2023. The popular festival features premier festival touring bands performing on two side-by-side stages.

Headlining the 2023 festival are moe., who will be Performing four sets over two nights, and Dark Star Orchestra, scheduled to perform two sets.

The Music Fest Labor Day lineup also includes Rubblebucket, Keller Williams, Dumpstaphunk, Mihali, Prince/Bowie: performing the music of Prince and David Bowie (featuring members of Pink Talking Fish, Twiddle, The Machine and the Cool Cool Cool horn section), Dogs in a Pile, Melt, Neighbor, Eggy, Roots of Creation, Jimkata, Lucid, Karina Rykman, Sophistafunk, (former Lettuce/Soulive saxophonist) Sam Kininger & The A-Beez, Baked Shrimp, Escaper, Creamery Station, Suke Cerulo Band and Hilltop.

Craft vendors and food trucks will be on the grounds. The Festival Commons are located at the head of Lake George and offer a prime spot to view the Saturday night fireworks, which will be shot over the lake’s Southern Basin.

Three-day, General Admission tickets are $180 and available online at the Adirondack Independence Music Festival website. General Admission tickets for children aged 12 and younger are free. VIP tickets offer three-day admission, a nightly meal, free snacks and deeply discounted beverages. VIP ticket holders will have access to a private viewing area with a private bar and restrooms.

The music begins Friday, at 1 p.m., and noon on Saturday and Sunday. Music continues until 11 p.m. each night.
