Athletes will gather at Battlefield Park across from Lake George (Million Dollar) Beach on Saturday and Sunday, September 5–6, for the annual Lake George Triathlon. The festival is presented by Alpha Win Racing, which offers “A Distance for Everyone” through four swim-ride-run races of varying lengths. This is a USA Triathlon-sanctioned event.

This year, Alpha Win is participating in the USAT’s new State Championship format as hosts of the New York – North Championships. Athletes who participate in state championships will qualify for National Championship races.
2026 Lake George Triathlon Races
Alpha Open
— 100-meter swim from Lake George Beach
— 2-mile bike on Beach Road
— 1-mile run on the Warren County Bikeway
The Alpha Open will be held on Saturday, September 5. The Open Wave starts at 8 a.m. The Awards Ceremony will begin at 9 a.m.
Alpha Long Course
— 1.2-mile swim from Lake George Beach
— 56-mile bike north on State Route 9 to Warrensburg – Diamond Point Road – East Schroon River Road, cross the County Home Bridge to Schroon River Road – to Horicon Avenue- to State Route 8, circle Brant Lake and return to Lake George.
— 13-mile run on the Warren County Bikeway
The Alpha Long Course will be held on Saturday, September 5. The Male Wave starts at 7 a.m. The Female Wave starts at 7:03 a.m. The Awards Ceremony will be held at 2 p.m.
Alpha Sprint
— 750-meter swim from Lake George Beach
— 12.4-mile bike along the East Shore of Lake George
— 3.1-mile run on the Warren County Bikeway
The Alpha Sprint will be held on Sunday, September 6. The Sprint Male Wave starts at 7 a.m. The Female Wave starts at 7:03 a.m. The Sprint Awards Ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m.
Alpha Olympic
— 1,500-meter swim from Lake George Beach
— 24.8- mile bike along the East Shore of Lake George
— 6.2-mile run on the Warren County Bikeway
The Olympic races will be held on Sunday, September 6. NECTC Olympic Male Wave starts at 7:40 a.m. NECTC Female Wave starts at 7:43 a.m. Alpha Olympic Male Wave starts at 7:46. Alpha Olympic Female Wave starts at 7:49 a.m. The Olympic Awards Ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m.
The festival will be headquartered at Lake George Battlefield Park, Fort George Road. The Lake George Land Conservancy is the official beneficiary of the Lake George Triathlon Festival.
