Americade, the world’s largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally, rumbled into Lake George this Wednesday, May 27. Americade 2026, which runs through Saturday, May 30, features factory demos, guided scenic rides, and one of the country’s biggest motorcycle trade shows.
“Americade has always been about more than motorcycles — it’s about community, camaraderie, and creating unforgettable experiences in one of the most scenic riding destinations in the country,” says Christian Dutcher of Americade in a press release. “We’re excited to continue growing the event while staying true to the welcoming atmosphere riders have enjoyed for more than four decades.”
The Americade 2026 featured rides include a new, free Charity Poker Run benefiting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation through the Ride for Kids program, and a new Women’s Ride designed to connect and grow the community of women riders.
Additional events include scenic lake cruises, Breakfast by the Lake, the Big Motorcycle Film Festival, a comedy show with Alonzo Bodden, and the New England Motorcycle Museum’s Mobile Collection.
This year’s event expands the entertainment with a two-night block party in the center of Canada Street in front of Shepard Park. All are invited to the party, which includes live music, motorcycle stunt shows, and the Slow Riding World Championships. Canada Street in front of Shepard Park (between Amherst and Montcalm streets) will be closed Thursday, May 28, at noon through Sunday, May 31, at noon to accommodate the Block Party.
