The Bolton Free Library, 4922 Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing, New York, will be holding its third Annual Children’s Book Festival on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the library lawn. Local and regional children’s authors will be on hand to discuss their work, sell signed copies of their books and perform readings in the library.
Additionally, the New York State Talking Books and Braille Library will be joining the 2026 festival. The TBBL offers print Braille books, fiction and nonfiction audiobooks, digital talking books and players for New Yorkers who have visual, physical or reading disabilities and are unable to use standard print texts.
The Children’s Book Festival is free to attend. The event also includes a free craft table for children.
Authors participating in the 2026 Children’s Book Fair include Paula Putney, Pamela Friers, Sarah Van Rijsewijk, Jasmine Shae Antonuci, Susan J. DiChristina, Christina McKay-DiChristina, Mike Ornstein, Vicki Addesso Dodd and Tim Hoppey.
