Pretty trucks with power: ESTRA Tow Show comes to Lake George this weekend

The real workhorses of the highways will fill the Festival Commons in Charles R. Wood Park this weekend, June 2 – 4, for the Empire State Towing & Recovery Association Tow Show. This is the 34th year for the event, which brings together people in the towing industry for seminars and socializing. The event also gives truck owners the opportunity to show off their spectacular trucks. This year’s show is the largest 2017 association-sponsored towing and recovery event in the Northeast.

The show opens Friday afternoon. Visitors will have the opportunity to view a lineup of beautiful trucks, so beautiful, in fact, that many will be entered in the show’s beauty contest. Several vendors will be on site, and the Backstreet BBQ will be serving up food and beverages. Saturday will feature demonstrations in the rear parking lot of the Tiki Resort, just south of Wood Park on Canada Street. Admission to the show is free and open to the public.

ESTRA was founded in 1980 with a mission to develop a support network for those in the industry, create educational opportunities for members and give voice to legislative concerns. The annual Tow Show in Lake George has become an important venue where ESTRA furthers its mission in a fun environment.
