Registration is still open for Kelly’s Angels 14th Annual Mother-Lovin’ Run/Walk in Spa State Park on Mother’s Day, May 10. Organizers expect more than 1,200 people to compete in the 2026 event. The 5K run/walk is a fundraiser for Kelly’s Angels, a not-for-profit founded by NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland to honor the memory of his wife, Kelly.
The Mother Lovin’ 5K begins with registration from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Saratoga Spa State Park’s Oreda Pavilion. Early registration is $40 and available online through ZippyReg. The day of the race, registration is $45.
All proceeds directly support Kelly’s Angels’ mission to help children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer or other illness. Kelly’s Angels provides fun grants and college scholarships to children whose families have suffered loss.
In addition to the run/walk, the event includes a kids’ fun run at 8:45, auctions, food, music and more. Each registrant will get a free car wash courtesy of Hoffman Car Wash.
Bib and race packet pickup at the Orenda Pavilion will be on Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to noon, and on Sunday, May 10, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. The run begins at 9:15 a.m. An awards ceremony will be held at 10:15 a.m. The Mother Lovin’ 5K Run/Walk also has a virtual option.
