Halloween lands mid-week this year. Expect trick- or- treaters at your door on Wednesday, Oct. 31. For the adults, costume contests with cash prizes, drink specials, live music, dancing and spooky fun are on tap this weekend. Here is our roundup of Lake George Halloween parties — 2018 edition.

Head up the East Side of Lake George for the Annual Sans Haunt. Entertainment by Bobby Dick and Suzie Q. This party features a costume contest with giveaways, an ice luge with Pick6 Vodka drink specials. Spooky food and eyeballs in your drinks. According to Jenny at Sans Souci, “If you don’t come is costume – that is fine by us – but there will be a $10 donation collected to be donated to a local charity!”

King Neptune’s always has a theme going. This year’s Halloween party is looking for Greek Gods and Goddesses in the Lost City of Atlantis. Live music by Aquanett, an 80s tribute band that will bring you back to the days of big hair, Ozzy Osborne, Bon Jovi, Metallica and Poison. No cover for costumed guests. This is a 21+ only party.
