Lake George Harvest Fest comes to Wood Park this weekend

A new Festival debuts this weekend, Oct. 21 – 23, at the Festival Commons in Charles R. Wood Park. The autumn-themed Lake George Harvest Festival will feature live music performed by top local bands, children’s rides, games and activities, and a Saturday night fireworks display, which organizers claim will be “huge.” The trees in Lake George are holding on to their leaves a little longer this year guaranteeing that the festival will be surrounded by spectacular fall foliage.

Food trucks and craft beverage producers will be on site to offer tastes of local flavor. For those ready to begin their holiday shopping, a market of arts and crafts, antiques and apparel vendors will also set up at the festival. The Harvest Festival also includes a Tourism Marketplace where local and statewide organizations in the tourism industry will offer information on travel and vacation packages. The event beneficiary is Autism Speaks, who will be on hand to offer information and resources.
