Warrensburgh Beautification Inc. has announced a full schedule of events for 2026, including festivals, garden tours and presentations, special dinners and the opening of the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market for its 28th season.
The season kicks off with the official spring cleanup at Farmers’ Market Park as part of the statewide I Love My Park Day. Those wishing to help with cleaning up planting beds and picking up trash may join the crew on Saturday, May 2, 9 a.m. to noon. Participants are asked to bring gloves and tools. Thursday, May 7,Warrensburgh Beautification will hold its Annual Meeting, Potluck Dinner and Presentation. The public is invited. The dinner will be held at The Glen Lodge, 1128 Route 28, Warrensburg. Linden Pearsall, Community Horticulture Coordinator at CCE of Warren County, will present a talk titled “The Value of Pollinators to Our Environment”.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the business meeting at 6 p.m. Pearsall’s presentation will begin at 7 p.m. RSVP to Chairperson Teresa Whalan at 518-466-5497 or email taawhalen@yahoo.com.
Tuesday, May 12, Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold an Arbor Day presentation about how trees benefit the environment and will plant a tree at the Warrensburg Transfer Station entrance, 4 Dump Road. The event begins at 3:30 p.m. The Warrensburg Elementary School “In the Zone” students will be attending.
Saturday, May 23, from 9 a.m. to noon, local gardeners will gather at the Farmers’ Market Park for the 28th Annual Green Thumb Perennial Swap. New gardeners are invited to adopt plans. Warren County CCE Master Gardeners will be on hand to help identify plants and collect soil samples. Bently, Burpee Seed, and Hudson Valley Seed Companies have donated organic and non-GMO flower, herb, and vegetable seeds, available free to attendees.
Saturday, June 6, at 10 a.m., a Morning in the Garden presentation will be held at the Warrensburg Community Garden in Paper Mill Park, 446 Route 418 (River Street). Warrensburg. Master Gardener Tom O’Dea will demonstrate tool sharpening. Attendees will learn about composting and cover crops.
Friday, May 29, the Warrensburg Riverfront Farmer’s Market opens for its 28th season. The market is held each Friday through early October, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Farmers’ Market Park on River Street (across from Curtis Lumber). On Festival days, the Market is moved to the Recreation Field Pavilion on Library Avenue.

Saturday, July 11, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., gardens in the town and country will be open for tours followed by a 3 p.m. presentation, “Native Plants – Importance for a Sustainable Environment,” given by horticulturist, garden designer, ecologist and nature photographer Drew Monthie. Monthie’s presentation will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension building, 377 Schroon River Road. This event is a fundraiser for Warrensburgh Beautification, Inc.
Monday, October 12, Columbus Day, in partnership with Adirondack Harvest, Warrensburgh Beautification will present the Local Harvest Dinner, featuring locally grown and prepared foods, served with regionally produced wines, beer, and spirits.
Saturday and Sunday, December 5 & 6, the townwide Christmas in Warrensburgh celebration returns for its 38th year.
