The Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market is hosting its 13th Annual Apple Festival on Friday, September 11, 3-6 p.m. The festival will be held at the Warrensburgh Recreation Field Pavilion on Library Avenue, Warrensburg.
Shoppers will find a variety of locally grown apples, hard and sweet cider, apple pies, and apple cider donuts. The festival offers a free sampler plate of apple-inspired recipes; Warren County CCE Master Gardeners will be on hand with growing information and recipes.
The festival includes apple-themed crafts for children, pumpkin painting, and apple cider pressing demonstrations and tastings. Attendees will be treated to live music performed by “The Folkmaster,” Peter Burrall. NY State of Health, NYS Department of Public Service, Cancer Service Program of Warren, Washington and Hamilton Counties, and BHSN Therapeutic Foster Care will be at the festival, providing program information and giveaways.
More than two dozen vendors, including local farms, craft beverage producers, bakers, and artisans, will be offering goods for sale, samples and demonstrations.
