Warrensburgh Farmers’ Market to launch its 2025 season with Rhubarb Fest

The Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market will open for its 27th season on Friday, May 30, with a celebration of everything rhubarb. Shoppers will have the opportunity to sample rhubarb recipes and purchase rhubarb and rhubarb plants.

Master Gardener and rhubarb expert Ruth Fruda will be on hand to answer questions about growing rhubarb. The festival, as are all the market festivals held throughout the season, will be at the Warrensburg Recreation Field Pavilion on Library Avenue, from 3-6 p.m.

The Recreation Field site offers a covered space for vendors, ample parking, picnic tables and public restrooms.

The Market operates each Friday, from 3-6 p.m., May 30 through October 10. The regular non-festival markets are held at the Farmers’ Market Park on River Street across from Curtis Lumber.

The Market features local produce, artisan foods and baked goods, maple and honey products, arts and crafts, children’s activities and live music.
