The Lake George Region Women for Women in Need (WIN) will be holding a fundraiser holiday party and auction on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2 – 5 p.m. at Mario’s Restaurant, 429 Canada Street, Lake George. Proceeds will further WIN’s work of directly aiding women and families living in Warren, Washington, Saratoga and Essex Counties. WIN helps women who are in need of food, clothing, medical services, home fuel, transportation costs and shelter by providing financial help or guidance.
Tickets to the party are $25 and include hors d’oeuvres, coffee, tea and dessert. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Chas Giknis of Absolute Sound Music. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in live and silent auctions and a stocking stuffer raffle.
WIN is also raffling off white gold diamond 1.15-carat stud earrings valued at $2,000. Tickets for the diamond earring raffle are $5 each or three tickets for $10. Diamond earring raffle tickets may be purchased in advance by contacting Nancy at (518)744-1556. The winning ticket will be drawn at the holiday party.
